Even if it happens, it's certainly going to be without the library of video pass. However why would Amazon pursue MotoGP rights in the US only? It doesn't really make sense for them.

There are no such talks yet, their contract still doesn't end for another few years, they are not in any negotiations with anyone.įinally as a general outlook, selling OTT rights completely to Amazon would be a disaster for MotoGP worldwide but it makes a lot of sense to sell full US broadcast rights to Amazon and cut the access of US viewers to video pass. Secondly, Amazon needs to be interested in buying rights itself, not Dorna going "let's sell our OTT rights to you" to them. It's not going to be even the same people at Amazon that would oversee and finalise both of those things.
